Judi Novosad- Managing Director/ Board Chair- As a Franklin native and having a strong interest in local history the museum is a natural fit for me. I have worked in many capacities over the last 14 year at the museum, In that time the museum has grown in so many ways. I look forward to watch the museum continue to evolve and continue to grow with the help of a strong board members and volunteer workers. Franklin has important history to tell!
Alden Miner - Vice Chair
Matt Novosad- Collections Manager- Town Historian- FHS President
Anthony Girasoli - Grant Coordinator - Anthony grew up in Franklin and remembers Mr. Selavka's school field trips to Devil's Den. It was trips like this that helped foster his interests in Franklin's history, whether it's Franklin's indigenous roots or its involvement in the revolutionary war. Anthony has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and would like to promote the museum through education with adults and children. He also is a professor in the Department of Psychological Science at Eastern Connecticut State University.
Calli Carboni- Board Secretary- Calli is a lifelong resident of Franklin and her family planted their roots here in 1905. Her relatives worked on the Central Vermont Railroad when they arrived in Franklin. During World War II, five of the Carboni boys served at the same time. Calli loves taking care of her dogs and her horses. She graduated from Franklin Elementary School and has a very strong connection to the town that she grew up in. She would love to see our town grow a lasting sense of community and supports this through her volunteerism.
Gary Lalumiere- Facilities Manager- Gary has lived in Franklin since 1998 and has a deep relationship with Franklin through his family (his wife grew up in Franklin) and his work. He is retired from the State of Connecticut and currently works as the facilities manager for the Town of Franklin. He works and volunteers for the town because he loves Franklin and wants to be involved as much as possible. For hobbies, Gary likes to restore horse drawn sleighs and carriages, and also likes to restore antique cars.
